AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING ANG JOBS

as we discussed in earlier post regarding aeronautical engineering the important part of it is maintenance of developed and designed part.
in this category aircraft maintenance engineering. every one i met used to ask me what is A.M.E course and what it deals with and where to study this course.

A.M.E course:
a.m.e course is 3 years which include 6 months of practical on job training(o.j.t).it has two branch one is mechanical and another avionics. we will discuss about it later in another post like which is best why.
a.m.e course is a licensing course not bachelor degree course. this course contains 3 different years as we mentioned earlier means each year different subjects.
1 year of this course subject is civil aviation rules. after completing of one year experience one can eligible to give exams conducted by D.G.C.A ( director general of civil aviation).this exams for total 100 marks. total questions are objective type. to pass this exam one must get 70 % marks.
and second year subjects are 12 which is called as basic engineering of a.m.e. subjects are aerodynamics, structure, metellurgy ,ndt, engineering drawing , electronics, instruments, materials , workshop theory,....etc.
the examination process is as discussed earlier. up to this there is no difference between mechanical and avionics. here comes the difference if you choose mechanical you have study about different engines like jet engine(je or CT), piston engine(P.E) and airframe type light airframe(L.A), heavy airframe (H.A),ROTOR AIR FRAME(R.A).
IF YOU CHOOSE avionics in 3 rd year you have to study about different systems of aircrafts like R.N(radio navigation) , IS (instruments), ES( ELECTRONICS).
THE EXAM CRITERIA IS SAME . after successfully completed the two and half years ( third exam is only after 6 months) you will get basic maintenance license. one can give only one type exam in third year.

A.M.E:
AIRCAFT MANTENANCE ENGINEER is responsible for proper maintenance of aircraft. before every
first flight of the day a.m.e will carry maintenance , check for proper condition. after carrying check a.m.e will sign a certificate as the aircraft is in proper condition.
career opportunities: earlier of years this course has a great possibilities of getting job as every body realised about this course now a days this course jobs become almost neuotrel . one can get job easily if they has contact person in this field.
if they get job they will get a good amount of salary like 40 000 for month in earlier days . this is if you get a.m.e job.
